First of all I hate to say equipment makes a difference.In other words, you can’t have a cheap camera and expect it to be taking quality pictures at night.It does not have the capability to do that. As a San Diego photographer I have had to learn that only cameras made to take photos at night will work.It doesn’t mean that you shoud have a camera that is specifically made for night shots but you should look for a camera that can shoot in the dark.
